Richard Hemmingway started Edit One, Inc. in 1988. He has a strong technical background with more than 30 years in the field. Since 1988 Richard has been relied upon by many fortune 500 companies. In 2002 to 2011, along with his role at Edit One, Richard worked regularly for Harpo Studios as an Editor at The Oprah Winfrey Show. Upon the completion of the final season of the show in 2011, Richard began editing content for OWN, The Oprah Winfrey Network. He quickly became the lead editor on the top rated show on the network. In April of 2015, Richard left OWN to continue his work with Edit One.
Richard is an Emmy-award winning editor (2005) and has been nominated by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences seven times. In 2006, Richard was the lead editor on the documentary, “Auschwitz Death Camp” with Oprah Winfrey and Elie Wiesel.
He is known for his creativity, energy and enthusiasm.

Tracy brings more than 25 years of experience to the company in both corporate and broadcast production. She received her Masters in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism in 1992. During that time, Tracy worked in Washington D.C. as a correspondent for the ABC affiliate WDAY-TV. She reported, produced and edited news packages.
She then made the transition into corporate television and free-lanced for Fortune 500 hundred companies such as McDonald’s, Mass Mutual Financial and Motorola. Tracy went to work for Sheridan-Jennings, Ltd. traveling worldwide to England, Canada, Spain, Mexico and Italy.
In 1999, she went to work for TBA Global Events as a Video/Live Show Producer working on Motorola Superbowl events, O Magazine’s Hi Gorgeous Tour and the American Cancer Society Live Event in Washington, DC in front of the Capitol. She has recently taken a position as an Assistant Professor of Communications at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. where she teaches Advanced Newswriting and moderates the student news WFLY-TV. She also developed a curriculum for a Corporate Live Show class.
She is known for her creative vision and project management skills.

With over 23 yrs in the field, John has proven himself in both corporate and broadcast production/post production. Working initially as a corporate editor/production crew for companies like Allstate, Square D, Motorola, and Ameritech/SBC. In 1998, while continuing to maintain his corporate presence, John began his 14 year career at Harpo Studios as an editor on The Oprah Winfrey show. During those 14 years, John received 11 Emmy nomination for Multiple Camera Editing. 3 of those Emmy nominations resulted in a win.
In the early 1990’s through 2001, John engineered several audio projects for CBS radio. He has also engineering projects for WSCR, WBBM, Oldies 104. More recently, John has designed, engineered and built several large scale media rooms, post production suites and a broadcast control room.In 2015, John was asked to travel abroad with Smile Network International to shoot, edit and develop a fund raising campaign to continue the effort of repairing children born with cleft pallets, cleft lips around the globe.
He is well known for his creativity, energy and technical abilities.

Terry Goulder is an Emmy Award winning Executive Producer with more than 30 years of world-wide television and production experience. During his 17+ years as a producer for The Oprah Winfrey Show, Terry produced more than 200 episodes including, the “Big Car Giveaway,” “Oprah’s 50th Birthday Party,” “Oprah’s Australian Adventure” and “Oprah’s Farewell Spectacular” shows at the United Center. For the past four years, Terry has served as Executive Producer for programs produced for OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) including the Emmy Award winning Oprah’s Lifeclass, and the NAACP award winning reality series, Iyanla: Fix My Life.
Terry has also created several successful digital series for Oprah.com including: #Adamsays (featuring fashion advice from Oprah Magazine Creative Director, Adam Glassman), Oprah: Where Are They Now Extra, and the best-selling Brené Brown e-course on The Gifts of Imperfection.
Terry is passionate about giving back to his community by creating powerful fundraising videos for a variety of organizations. Some of these projects include The Wings Program, which provides a safe home for families experiencing domestic abuse and Hesed House, Illinois’ 2nd largest homeless shelter.
With the gift of generating big ideas quickly, Terry’s varied and vast experience helps bring extraordinary concepts to life on deadline and on budget. Joshua Mayes is a New York City based director of photography with 20 years of experience in film and television. Josh’s love of imagery and storytelling began when he was a kid fascinated by reruns of The Twilight Zone. After studying film and television at Boston University, he started working as a camera operator on The Real World.
Josh was trained to shoot in a single camera vérité fashion and he was hooked. Throughout his career, Josh has collaborated on every level of production from conception to execution. He’s worked with some of the highest profile names in television, film and politics, and in diverse environments from large multi-national production companies to small non-profits.
Josh is highly sought after for his intuitive ability to understand and connect with story, his artistry and vision, the passion he brings to every project and his experience leading creative teams.

Alan, an Emmy Award winner, works nationally and internatonally gathering and mixing audio for a variety of media productions.
Alan’s work has been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS, Frontline, Dateline, and 60 Minutes, as well as with various cable companies including National Geographic, HGTV, VH1, E!, and the Food Network. Alan worked with Oprah Winfrey on the Oprah Winfrey Show for over 15 years doing sound mixing for many of her Specials, including Martin Luther King Jr. Primetime Special, Legend’s Ball, Oprah and Gayle’s Road Trip and American Academy Award “Red Carpet” Interviews. In addition, Alan was a field mixer for Michael Moore’s documentary feature: Capitalism: A Love Story.

Tom Pyers has been an editor for over 35 years. His experience includes national commercials, political spots including two presidential campaigns, documentaries, music performance, sports, corporate videos, reality, and eighteen years of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
He is a four time Emmy Award winner with seven additional Emmy nominations.
Tom has held the position of senior lead editor for many years. His attention to detail starts with the creative cut and extends all the way thru to the finish.

Working in editing and motion graphics for just about 20 years now, Dave has worked in every aspect of post-prodcution. He has experience with storyboarding and visualization, design, 3D and production animation. His key tools are the Adobe set, Cinema 4D. His work ranges from title sequences to special effects; logo work to layer compositing, and 3D design/animation. Dave has worked for many production houses and spent several years as a lead designer/animation at the Oprah Winfrey Show. He has been a key member of the Edit One team for over 3 years.

Adam Cartwright is a 20+ year veteran in Graphic Design, Art Direction and Web Design. He has done client work for markets all over the world in many industries, including Fitness, Agriculture, Horticulture, Healthcare, banking and software. Specializations include photography & Photoshop illustration, image retouching and manipulation. His skills also include logo design, advertising design, vector Illustration and web design. In previous roles, Adam worked at LifeFitness, Ball Horticultural Corporation and Rhea + Kaiser Marketing Communications. Since 2003, Mr Cartwright has been a Freelance Designer overseeing many clients marketing needs.

Goerge Burns is the Personal Photographer for Oprah Winfrey/Chief Photographer, Harpo Studios for more than 20 years.
He held full accountability for the coordination and execution of all photography-related functions for Harpo and OWN network productions (i.e., The Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, Rosie, Super Soul Sunday, Oprah Prime, Oprah’s Next Chapter, etc.), as well as all of Oprah’s personal (private/public) events. Serves as a regular contributor to Oprah’s monthly publication, O, The Oprah Magazine. Shoots and edits photographs for use on Website, television programming, public relations materials and content for media distribution, as well as staff headshots and celebrity snapshots. Travels extensively as Oprah’s personal photographer for various productions and special tapings. Actively maintains and continuously updates a comprehensive photo archive of more than two million images comprised of Oprah’s personal/show-related photographs, dating back to 1984. George is the Primary Point of Contact (POC) to all departments with regard to the fulfillment of photo requests.
He manages inventory control, maintaining strict adherence to budgetary requirements; source and secure new equipment vendors, aggressively negotiating contracts to obtain the most cost-effective, quality equipment. George also champions the execution of a full-scale digitization of the photo archive; tasked with coordinating and allocating resources, negotiating contracts and overseeing project from start to finish.
He is a contributor to diverse outside media outlets, including Time magazine, People magazine, USA Today and The Associated Press.
